Where is this different from filling in forms on Oyez and sending them to the court? Moving forward, what will the procedure be for verifying the parties' signatures and statements of truth? I agree with the last comment, I am all for digitalisation but I do not understand where the saving will be in the long term, other than to make the process for issuing the divorce petition or other application more centralised. The papers will still need to be served, the application and the grounds for divorce checked by a member of the court staff and any contested application referred to the local courts. What is the cost to the public purse of setting up this system and what is the cost benefit. Given past experience of public sector IT, this is something which should be given very careful consideration.
