But most CNF's from the larger firms seem to be presented within days of the accident and most seemingly dodgy claims appear close to the 3 year limitation presented by the not so larger companies (read into that what you will) , so its clear most people are fully aware within 4 weeks if they are going to make a claim for compensation if they feel genuine pain, most cars are either repaired or deemed a total loss and paid within 7 days if the claim is reported to the insurers correctly
