Mr Coyne is absolutely right. I have got beyond despairing for my old profession.

It also results in harsh decisions [in my opinion] such as the striking off of Mr Saunders - on which we may now comment - reported earlier this week.

If other insures are looking at their files - and we can bet the house that they are - maybe the SRA is praying for a pre pack to avoid other strenuous activity.

As an aside, is this a matter that the firm's compliance team should have spotted? If so, why not?
