I agree totally, but in the eyes of the public they would not want to NHS to settling every claim without a challenge (rightly or wrongly), we have read numerous cases where claims have been submitted for £100's of thousands yet settled for a fraction of that yet the claimant solicitors STILL submit inflated costs, just like the Army most people love the NHS and to see a solicitor try and claim £72K from an already battered NHS is simply going exacerbate the hatred from the sector and as you say more support for the reforms
