I expect they would have said even the lower figure was entirely disproportionate.

I know I know. The character I took issue with below about pursuing a case on the basis of proportionate costs and the person of moderate means test under the old LAA is class example of the Legal Plagiarists Course (and yes, I do blame the Law Society and SRA for that) ....
