I must say that someone took their eye off the ball at Thompsons because as we would all agree they are not shyster firm at all.

I agree with you about costs analysis and win and lose, (someone told me they had been told (I know, which is hearsay if Anonymous; 23 February 2017 09:44 GMT, below knows what that is), that the success rate is as low as 60/40 against.

I am amazed at the ignorance, but with Med Neg, I do know that more lose than win as I say. That was why the old Limited Legal Aid Certificate was so useful Limited to say instructing a (usually, (to save expenses), Registrar), in a field first on a very limited investigatory basis. Anonymous; 23 February 2017 09:44 GMT would obviously not concur and who are we to disagree with his esteemed knowledge?

I am amazed at the current ignorance of people entering what was the profession.

And yes I believe they may have to limit Prof Neg claims generally in Medicine, Law, Accountancy and Surveying, otherwise there will be no body left doing the work to any sort of challenging or scrutinising standard.

Limiting the NHS's exposure will come first I suspect (they will be force to do that).
