The more I have thought about this I feel that Miss Trust, who initially at least appeared unconvinced by the reforms, has cleverly kicked the PI Reforms into the long grass; but in a way that prevents the insurers kicking up a fuss given they at least have a future date of supposed implementation.


That is, two years is a hell of a long time in politics and concessions are likely to have to be made re the RTA proposals to get the Bill through the HOL.

By 2018 we may well have had the LAPSO review and the report from the Transport Select Committee, with each fairly likely to add pressure to dilute the RTA proposals.
