There is a lot to sort out here so I don't see a quick implementation. is the portal still used by LIP's for SCT claims? MedCo again is it still used and who pays for this and the portal. If SCT claims drop put of the portal then the costs of running the portal and MedCo increase on those left. How do LIP's access the same if they are maintained? I cannot see fraud being pursued as a defence as often now, the economics in a post tariff world just don't justify it. It will costs more to defend than to pay. Only fraud rings etc are likely to be targeted and there's the irony of these reforms.

CMC's on a DBA will easily be able to do these. No engagement with the other side. MID / DVLA search, CNF filed or Letter of Claim sent, Present claim and request payment. No payment then enforce. Easy money for little work (no regulation remember and pro-forma documents) and again it costs more to defend or challenge so easier to put them through.
