I got out of PI at the end of 2013 when I realised the insurers and govt would not rest seeing as solicitors and CMCs found ways to circumvent the referral fee ban rather than adapt to new marketing methods. And let's face it, after 2013 the whole thing was a sham with claimants effectively giving away 25% of their compensation just so the solicitor could give to the CMC in return for forwarding the client on the phone. People actually couldn't see what was wrong with that arrangement!

Getting out of PI was the best thing I've done. When I look back, I'm certain that 90% plus of the 'whiplash' sufferers I assisted had nothing more than a an ache you would feel after a gym session, the majority of those suffering even less than that; merely claiming their 2k because "everybody else does". Yet, at the time I had metaphorical fingers in my ears, certain that I was providing some grand service to innocent victims.
