This is a contractual condition that requires professional contractors to provide those services via a workforce that meets specific diversity criteria. The rationale for the imposition of such a condition is that it is necessary in order to ensure that HP manifests it's commitment to diversity in all it's activities.
I'me just wondering about how far the commitment to diversity extends. For example, will they be introducing similar equality requirements in relation to future transfers of share and equity holdings in HP?
This would be far more interesting, and I for one might be less cynical about the extent of HP's commitment to egalitarianism if they did so.
