Practical consequences of the DR announcement so far:

Insurers are pulling out of all scheduled settlement meetings and trying to apply to have listed trials vacated. Publically and in practice they are taking all steps to deny and confound the DR decision .

On the other hand they are actively arguing on interim payment applications for funds to obtain more suitable housing, that all such applications should be dismissed as Roberts v Johnstone results in a nil sum.

Talk about having your cake at eating it, when you don't even like the cake and want a different one made for you at the cost of others.

The hypocrisy is astounding.
