It is widely suggested that the legal toils through Brexit will keep the Government fully occupied for several years, and there won't be Parliamentary time for other stuff. I think that is an exaggeration, BUT one can see that proposed new laws may not get as much scrutiny or consideration as they should; and it isn't inconceivable that the Government will rush other legislation through, especially if a bit controversial, when many MPs will be distracted by Brexit.

Also, as public finances are likely to be under some strain because of Brexit, at least in the shortish term, will initiatives like this be properly funded so that they work?
