We need to keep the qualification routes as they currently are. This idea of the new exam is a bad idea.

Also it will just lead to a similar university/poly divide - the less compentent and less bright instead of not becoming solicitors (and we certainly don't want them in the professon of course, we want routes to entry to be very hard) will just not be recruitable by the better firms.
