No doubt the vast majority of those 17.4 million souls who voted for Brexit were fully aware of this and voted for Brexit anyway. Bizarrely, I have just been discussing with a client the work of the EU and the EU court over the last 25 years in bringing about a more convergent view across member states as to how much originality is required in a work for it to acquire copyright protection. Of course, post Brexit, I doubt that we will have that comfort and there will be more uncertainty. This is just one of no doubt a myriad of examples which readers could come up with.
