Martin whether or not you are pro or anti the E.U. it cannot be argued that voting remain was not the safe option.We are in a situation in which no one has a clue as to how this will work out.It could be a complete and utter disaster,it might be only a minor disaster or we might be marginally better off after 10 years,the latter is the coclusion of 2 economic experts ,one from either side who were on the today programme the other day.To suggest 95% of remainers are ignorant or misguided idealists is patronising and simply wrong.The overwhelming majority of informed opinion ie economists businessmen and the so called educated elite were in favour of remain.I doubt any of them have changed their minds in private but hypocritically some of them have pretended to do so in public.
