Mr Ball, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall any "British agents" being arrested by the Irish authorities for this murder, released under severe economic threats made by Britain against the Republic, and then publicly welcomed back into the UK. These are some essential differences between the two cases. Perhaps the motto is that people who throw proverbs should make sure their facts are shockproof.
