It beggars belief that after the horrendous events in the Grenfell Tower incident the concentration of the Government is to attack again the so called "claims culture" as against the conduct of "negligence". The whiplash reforms are taking a hammer to crack a nut. Moreover, the reforms are not limited to RTA. The proposed increase in the Small Claims limit affects all claimants many of whom are ill equipped to pursue their own claims and will be denied justice. There is a remedy to fraud, it is called Court. What a slur on our judicial system that judges cannot be trusted to determine the merits of a case. This Government, the vile gutter press pedalling anti claimant abuse, and an insurance industry whose only concern over the events of the last 3 weeks is to say they hope it does not delay the much needed reforms. all sicken me. Roll on another general election not because of my self interest but actually because I am proud of what I do for a living and I am sick of the total disregard of the needs and rights of the public. Anyone collaborating in this should all hang their heads in shame. APIL should be out there now publically shouting from the roof tops that these attacks on a so called claims culture have empowered those with a duty of care to be dismissive and evasive over taking responsibility when that duty Is breached often with devastating consequences.
