Interesting post by Mr Drowssap. I knew nothing whatever about Henry Ford apart from the often-quoted quip about black cars. I've since looked him up and can see that Mr D was perfectly correct about the honours Ford received from Hitler. He was apparently the son of an English father and Belgian mother, so he had solid European credentials. He was also passionately anti-Semitic, and a "pacifist" both in 1914 and 1939 - at least as regards war with Germany.
