Once again, we have a government that shows that even in small things, it is useless. There is no argument - repeat NO ARGUMENT - against making making cold calling by claims-farmers a criminal offence with a substantial penalty and criminal record personally for whoever makes the call, for the person or persons instructing them to do so, and as a corporate offence for the organisation involved.

No regulation. No chicken-livered and evasive excuses. Shut down the entire industry.

I reckon the comment "I can only conclude that at least one minister has a not insubstantial interest in a claims farming company", hits the nail on the head. It would be a worthwhile exercise for an investigative journalist to uncover who it is.
