I see that over the weekend the BBC has announced a new Dr Who, this time a woman, and rightly so.

But this has set me thinking, what if we could travel back in time to see the state of the profession say 30 years ago? I think our colleagues then would have been astonished, that in 2017, we were now talking of market trends in the legal services sector defined by bad behaviour, not by the needs of genuinely injured clients.

it is a depressing thought, that in the light of recent tragic events, lawyers routinely find themselves in the searchlight of public scrutiny not to be praised, but to validate the prejudices held by those individuals who would do us all harm.
