This survey shows that the Great British Public have considerably more intelligence than the folks at the Law Services Consumer Panel.

The public realise that years and years of doing a good job for clients with 'word of mouth' recommendations actually means something tangible; that sponsoring the local Fete or Charity Run contributes something back to the local community; that volunteering at the local women's refuge shows commitment; and that winning that 'unwinnable' case shows excellence.

The Gold Standard that any organisation aspires to - 'a Good Reputation' - joyously counts for more in the public's eye's that whether we can do a job for £10 cheaper than the other bloke.
