Mmmm, there's a reason why my late partner's name is still at HMLR, as is the mortgagee paid off some years ago .... When convinced the possibility of fraud has been reduced to zero I may reconsider. However, my experience thus far is that electronic on-line facilitation enables fraud in undreamt of ways, and without a no quibbles full state guarantee I want no part of it in connection with the most valuable and costly asset I am ever likely to own.
