Re Hart Brown's Suggestions
1. Leaseholders should consider getting together with a view to making an application to purchase the freehold or alternatively ask to appoint their own manager. If the Freeholder refuses the leaseholders are entitled to make an application to the First Tier (Property) Tribunal for an order to replace the manager, with their own nomination.
2. It is already a statutory requirement for a Landlord to offer the sale of the freehold (of a building containing flats) to the leaseholders before offering the same for sale to a third party.
