Dear Tim Eyles, you say that your firm’s measures on gender diversity were ‘clearly not getting us where we want to be fast enough’. Why don’t you ask in the near future one of your male associates who has been passed over for partnership so that you can get where you want to be at the desired speed whether he feels as if he is getting where he wants to be fast enough?

Oh, and the HR director talking about "female talent"? Are we using "On the Buses" officespeak now?!
