Yes I bet she is well able to take orders and prepare invoices.

I recall a client a number of years ago (Mandarin as it so happens) that I acted for in a number of property purchases- nothing contentious or out of the ordinary. The gentleman had no English and his 'cousin' always translated.

To be fair, the were very nice and no issues. In all my 5-6 years acting for him- he never spoke except in Mandarin to his cousin.

Then one evening I decided I would actually pop in to their restaurant/takeaway for a treat.

It made my wait far more enjoyable to see and hear said gentleman take orders over the phone, converse with customers, crack jokes in near perfect English.
