This is not the first time. I recently had to represent an Albanian defendant as Saturday morning court duty solicitor. Of course, the police hadn't arranged one. On his adjourned hearing (having been unable to take instructions or even explain to the poor soul what was going on) there was no interpreter again. I volunteered Google as a measure of last resort, but we eventually got one, at 3 pm. Be prepared for more of the same.
