I also agree with SL. Another good piece of advice received when I was training was when you really want to send a stroppy letter dictate/type it and then put it in the drawer. Read it the next day and amend it so that it is now a letter you would be comfortable to read out in Court. Not quite so easy with e-mail - too easy to hit the send button, rather than put in the "draft" folder. Alternatively, something like one of those foam stress ball thingys that you can squash or throw at the wall (provided a colleague isn't in the way!) may be a good idea.
