Following on from anon@12:30, I wonder what advice Nicola Walker gave to Karen Hart regarding the financial relief she could expect to receive after a marriage of this duration. On these facts I suspect that most matrimonial solicitors probably would have given advice along the lines of what Ms Walker says the outcome should have been and, if so, it would seem rather harsh to intimate that her post-hearing comment might have been 'sour grapes'. Presumably the Supreme Court will have the final say in the matter.
