I sincerely hope that you will find ways of stopping the CPS from "taking over" private prosecutions and then dropping them just because they raised important issues that 'someone' did not want brought before the courts.

I refer specifically to the case of Aisling Hubert who attempted to bring a private prosecution against doctors who offered ‘gender abortions’. The CPS had previously acknowledged that there was sufficient evidence but then decided that it was not in the public interest to prosecute. Aisling Hubert took out a private prosecution, the CPS took it over and then dropped it - leaving Aisling with a substantial legal bill for the doctors' costs.

Disgraceful!
