Anon @ 15.09.17 2.48pm - I assume you are aware that you don't have to be qualified (Sol/B/CILEX) to undertake District Judge Advocacy which accounts for 80% of work in the County Court. You simply need rights of audience for Trials and any matters in Open Court. Indeed the busiest 'advocates' in both Birkenhead and Liverpool over the years were not qualified. They were merely employees of two firms of solicitors. So yes they were ultimately covered by their PII, but neither had passed any legal exams.
