But nearly all MOJ general damage awards are overly inflated, firstly to cover the % a large number of firms take from the settlement along with their costs and as its been established (hence the reform) "whiplash" injuries do not warrant any form of financial award at all and any claimant solicitor that thinks otherwise will thankfully be looking for alternative paths of revenue very shortly.
The industry has tried for years to convince the public that "whiplash" is a serious injury and as such needed to be compensated in the same way as medically proven injuries were compensated, it makes me laugh that 18 months ago most medical reports listed "whiplash" as an injury where now they everybody has "soft tissue injuries"
