The strange thing for those of us who can remember is that the '72 Remuneration Order gave it all as fees and you competed on service. The rush for the bottom means that most conveyancing fees are worth less now than 45 years ago......oh and there was "The expense of time"...........5 hours to complete a conveyance properly.......13.49 might be more accurate than he/she thinks.
