Not abiding by the decision of your disciplinary tribunal must be considered as serious professional misconduct as it evinces that your mindset is to ignore the regulations under which you practice and thus are not fit to practice.

If you're fined £50k and are paying it off at £500 per month, fine: if you're fined £500 and refuse to pay it then as far as I am concerned you should be struck off.
