I once acted for an allegedly violent husband whose wife's solicitors got permission to omit her address from the petition - and then put it on a an application form for a Class F entry!

I did not give my client the address - although I thought then and think now that he had a right to read my file, address and all - but I insisted that the order giving permission to omit the address be set aside by consent because orders like that carry implications which I considered unjustified in this case.
