The bar really should sort out the under representation of ethnic minorities with their ranks, which has not improved significantly for years. They are way behind solicitors in this regard. Anything to improve diversity should be welcomed IMO. And although not caring who represents you as long as they are good at the job is clearly laudable it does not mean we shouldn't take what other measures are available to ensure equal opportunities for all. Clearly not the case yet......
