Spoiler Alert.
I had the misfortune to work for Minster Law for about 18 months. Whilst the folks at the coalface who were working there were great, the managers were dreadful and senior managers even worse. We often got 2-3 spreadsheets a day to complete and most teams were micro-managed excessively.
It is true that a lot of the staff handling the Portal work were not (fully) qualified.
The major difficulty was that the firm were stuck with a desire to keep all of the claims in the Portal as they didn't have enough staff to deal with claims that dropped out of the Portal.
I do not exaggerate to say (bearing in mind that I worked there that there were literally thousands of claims in the system where claims were still being run in the Portal where Minster had secured up to 5 (or more) medical reports from 5 (or more) medical experts! And all for the recovery of £500 Portal costs. It was madness and a economic disaster.
