I can honestly say that when articled and a young newly-qualified with a mixed bag of civil litigation cases, I found the District Registrars and DJs at Teesside, before and after they moved from the old court building to swish new one, to be (almost) all patient, pleased when you seemed to know what you were doing and grateful if you had drafted anything up to assist. I think you have to remember to have read the file and that no-one likes a smart arse.
