This isn't my understanding as an employment practitioner and mediator. It is a condition of issuing Employment Tribunal proceedings that the Claimant complies with ACAS early conciliation requirements. However, those requirements can in practice be met by the Claimant filling in a short online form and then either party saying they're not interested in settling .
