The problem is that there is no one challenging the flawed logic behind the proposition for reforms.

1. The number of claims is higher here than in some European jurisdictions as in many jurisdictions there is no compensation available so no one asserts their rights to obtain nothing. In some jurisdictions where compensation is greater there are more claims (see Eire).

2. If the claims costs fall it does not follow that premiums will fall.

3. If you take lawyers and courts out of the system then you increase the opportunity for fraud.
