Anon 17.17 30th October, a great idea. They can be pretty cheaply bought and the saving of that cost, versus say a 50/50 claim where there are no witnesses would be significant (plus it would probably be incorportated into the premium cost). I also wonder as an aside, how the increasing prevalence of dash cams might affect case law. If you can clearly see there was hardly any movement in the car would that strengthen LVI arguments? If someone is hit by someone coming out a side road but they themselves were on a phone, would that mean some contrib negligence? Hard to argue against them IMHO
