I have conflicting sympathies here. Whilst the law is, of necessity, complicated, this guy's properly issued claim was disallowed because he sent the claim by the wrong means. They got the claim didn't they ? This is the sort of unfair stupid nightmare that the judiciary thinks so amusing. Finding our way down the passages of unwritten and well hidden rules is our curse as litigators. I would welcome this sort of nonsense getting cut out.
