I can't imagine a judge giving us the time of day were we to suggest "we have received the document, but we don't like how it was sent to us." .."

The Court proceedings also worry me. Perhaps the idea is to highlight the defect so that a proper rule can be brought in - for future digestion by the Rules Committee so to speak?

Would it not be better to mandate either postal service by Recorded Delivery, so one can see where the Claim Form / Defence etc., went?
