As the head of a conveyancing firm, I'm resigned to the fact that we only gross £62 per hour for good lawyers and that my mechanic charges £90 per hour to drain oil from my car.
Why? It's because we have been vilified and the public perception is that we are all evil money making machines.
Ironically, it's a self fulfilling prophecy as eventually, there will just be internet based business offering virtual advice for high premiums and with low standards.
With regards to this company, I feel really sorry for them. the goalposts were firmly moved on them, leaving them high and dry.
