You are actually incorrect, investments are totally different business entity and have nothing to do with claims or any sort of premiums.
Use a search engine and type in the name of any large insurer followed by the word wealth and you will generally find most insurers are wealth investors and pretty good ones as that's where most if not all of their profits come from...sorry to ruin your day
