The Committee findings highlight what claimant lawyers have been saying for years. The NHS needs to change its culture and approach and start learning from its mistakes, both in the day to day practice of medicine, nursing, midwifery and the rest as well as on the claims side. Until then, claims, compensation and costs will continue to increase and it is that simple.
