At last! Contributors are beginning to complain about the use by the Gazette of the terms "black" and "white" when applied to to colour of a person's skin. Can we now take it further and persuade the Law Society, as a starter, to ensure these descriptions are NEVER used when referring to a person. I am more than eighty years old. I was born and bred in a multi-cultural area of Manchester. I have NEVER seen a "white" skinned person or a "black" skinned person. We are supposed to be honest and yet we persist in this dishonesty.
Is it any wonder people do not respect some of the members of this "profession"?
