Transparency in any format cannot be a bad thing. The direction of travel for some years has been towards more openeness, certainty, and accountability. The insuerers of course have played a big part in driving this agenda. Some city law firms, once shielded, are no doubt finding in the brave new world of Jackson's budgeting, some clients are 'waking up' and willing to question whether they are worth what the charge.
The seeds of change may gradually be starting to sprout, even in the dark corners of the city law firms.
