They are also being made in cases where the claimants have received 100% of their damages, so in a number of cases there is a substantial amount of frivolous and vexatious time wasting, the cost of which is a burden on the firm receiving the request if no application is made to the court.

The silence is deafening on the question of how these firms are harvesting the claims. No amount of search engine optimisation causes large numbers of claims to emerge from nowhere 2 years after the event, even by people who have had their damages in full.
