Mr Carlisle calls his and JG's clients 'unsophisticated'.

This is the same man whom, in the comments of the previous article, suggested that said clients had located his company because a search for'Solicitors Act' gave them top billing (no pun intended).

Also, does utilising the firm's own complaints procedure and/or the Ombudsman process 'waive' the right to request statutory assessment?

Any firm with experience of these companies knows how they operate. Despite what they say about 'helping good people', it certainly appears to be all about securing their own costs.
