Without going into details of ongoing litigation the Courts are also considering whether those involved in bringing these claims have made false statements and or counselled or procured perjured statements.

In one matter the claimant's representative is so keen to avoid the Court considering these grave matters that they made an application (described as fundamentally without merit) seeking to vary directions for oral evidence and set aside a witness summons obtained so as to ensure that the Claimant would be present to give oral evidence.

Now since the whole premise of these claims is 'if you've nothing to fear you've nothing to hire', well it could be a product of Monday morning cynicism but there seem to be lots of questions that the claimant's representatives in these matters are spending great energy avoiding answering.
